8' Turned Leg Dining Table

There is something about the simplicity of form and shapely turnings that have kept this design as a traditional staple since the 17^th century when it was first introduced in England in the William and Mary style. So popular was the design that it continued in various forms through the Elizabethan period and even expanded geographically to Colonial America.

This long 8-person dining table is perfect for hosting large dinner parties and looks especially beautiful when paired with our turned-leg Colonial Dining Chairs or a similarly traditional dining chair. The beautiful warmth and character of the solid mahogany wood table top differentiate Laurel Crown’s reproductions from other makers’ veneer, MDF, and resin-based products. Moreover, the solid wood construction and thick members of our 8-person dining table make it extremely durable and stable. Each table is constructed and built by hand with mortise and tenon wood joints for the frame and invisible butterfly joints on the underside of the solid wood table top.

Our 8-Person Turned Leg Dining Tables are best suited for large formal or informal dining rooms, however, if you require something smaller make sure to check out our smaller 6-person version of this beautiful 17^th century reproduction.

Can I Customize It?

Yes, you certainly can. We can custom build this table in different lengths, with different turnings, apron, and/or edge profile. We can also customize the color of the table to your liking. The standard color is our medium-brown Classic Mahogany, but we can also make our dining tables in Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Pine, and other colors by special request. How long does delivery take?

We generally deliver our in-stock tables within two weeks of when the order is placed. White glove delivery is also available for an additional cost when you select it during checkout. Please allow one extra week for white glove deliveries.
