We carve, sand, and finish each doll armchair by hand to preserve the heirloom quality that our customers adore about genuine antiques.

Every Chippendale doll armchair is crafted from only the finest Honduran mahogany, which was favored by Thomas Chippendale and other furniture makers of his time. This type of mahogany features a medium texture and straight grain that we cleverly accentuated with a satin semi-gloss finish. Not only does our miniature armchair feature the classic ball-and-claw feet, but it also has cabriole legs, a serpentine top rail, and hand-carved acanthus scrollwork all along the backrest. We added a padded, coil spring seat to ensure authenticity and timeless appeal.
