These classical predilections were revitalized during the early nineteenth century, when Empire furniture spread from France to much of Europe and the Americas. Every neoclassical nightstand we offer is made with plantation-grown Honduran mahogany. We carve, sand, and finish every detail by hand to preserve the authenticity of this piece.

These Empire bedside tables feature stately yet slender and fluted Corinthian columns to create a dramatic boundary for the lower and upper drawers. To complement the dark, reddish-brown hue of mahogany, we incorporated solid brass hardware that exudes a buttery glow for gentle sophistication. Notice the simple, rectilinear forms and the subtly stylish paneled cupboard that can be used to store your incidentals or late-night reading materials. To protect the wood from cracking or warping over time, we added a satin semi-gloss finish that only accentuates the mahogany even more.
